1. Indira Gandhi Planetarium
IG planetarium was opened to public from May 9th, 2003. This planetarium is famous due to its unique shape of Saturn with five ring structures. This planetarium helps to reveal and understand the astronomy aspects. In this planetarium, one can touch the stars virtually and other celestial events in minutes which takes months to see. The main objective of this planetarium is conducting astronomical exhibition, art competitions, and quiz for children and common men.
- 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm, 4:00 pm, and 5:00 pm. Extra shows will be allowed in summer at 6:00 pm.
- On all days shows will be in Hindi except Saturday and Sunday. First show on Saturday and Sunday is in English.

2. Bara Imambara
This Bara Imambara was built by Awadh was known as Asaf-ud-Daula in the year 1784. Bara Imambara was a relief project for major famine in the year 1784. This place is so precious to Muslims to celebrate festivals like Muharram. The major attraction of this monument is the Center hall which is the largest arched hall in the world. Other attractions of this monument are the Shahi Baoli, picture gallery etc.

3. British Residency
British Residency is the most important place to see the historical conflict of Independence. This Residency is home for the historical glimpse of 1857 India’s first revolt against the British. The compound of this Residency has still the marks of bullets and cannon balls. Nearly 2,000 graves of British soldiers are laid in Residency. This is the best place to see the historical conflict of Independence.
Timings: 7 AM to 6 PM.
Entry Fee: 5Rs for Indians and 100Rs for Foreigners.
4. Heritage Walk
The tourism of Uttar Pradesh made an arrangement of Heritage walk through Lucknow to experience the Lucknow beauty. After arranging your walk time through mobile or website and then you will meet the English-speaking guide. Then your walk will be started from Tila Wali Masjid to Mosque, Bara Imambara, alleyways in Chowk district. You can see many local things like historic old coins selling shops, Gandhi stayed place etc.

5. 1857 Memorial Museum
This Memorial Museum is located inside the British Residency which make a pictorial visual of 1857 revolt. This museum is the correct place to understand the times of the first Indian Rebellion for Independence. The major attractions of this museum are canvas paintings, lithographs portray, photographs etc which display the battles at the Residency. A beautiful gallery was added to the museum which is recovered from the southern portion of the Residency’s complex.
