Fear and Stage Fear. How to Overcome Fear?

It is said that you cannot sell anything if you cannot tell anything. According to a survey, more than 41% of the people have their greatest fear as Stage Fear. People fear when they are asked to stand up and speak. Public speaking is not restricted to Politics, but also for school and college students, presentations in corporate companies and every situation where the audience is not known to you.

Why Public Speaking?

You are supposed to learn public speaking because you need to shout loud in this world of extroverts. If you are an introvert, you cannot brand yourself and you cannot prove yourself. Even if know everything, you need to speak! In order to gain your confidence, to reduce your fear to its lowest, to look unique, to prove yourself, you should learn the art of Public Speaking.

What happens when you speak in front of mirror is: You get to know how you speak, what you speak and you will be able to improvise in your speech. Your gestures, voice modulation, expressions, everything is visible in front of mirror.

Deep Breathing and Meditation

Practice deep breathing everyday in your day to day life. Whenever you feel like you are going to something that scares you, take a deep breath in and exhale fully. Practice it for 8-10 times and the butterflies that are flying in your stomach will settle down.

The Law of Attraction says that: what you believe, you become. When you think of something, you attract that thing. As it is said in the movie Om Shanti Om: “”

So, be positive and think positive. Motivate yourself by constantly saying that, “Yes, I can do this. I can prove to the world that I can do this. I am the best and I fear from nothing.” Believe me, if you utter these words for 21 days, your confidence will start improving and you will start improving.

Practice, practice and practice

Practice makes a man perfect and if you don’t practice what you have learnt, it is of no use.
